Gold Rush

Implemented: Particle Systems, cave destructor functionality, camera shake for UX and Gold/Coal collection
Welcome to the Gold Rush! This was the second game in a series of game-jams to get everyone on our team working well together before the big project in the second semester.
This is a two player, fast-paced co-op game where players have to work together while still trying to beat one another in a moral dilemma. Using teamwork, players must beat the cave-in and escape the mines. Coal can be mined from the cave walls to power the cart and maintain a fast enough speed whereas gold gives players a win-condition over their teammate but requires good discipline to not get too greedy!

The cave-in used multiple particle systems to convey dust and rocks at a low performance cost without sacrificing visual quality.
